The following information will be beneficial to you in helping us keep everyone safe on the poolside and ensuring that you/your child get the most out of your/their swimming lessons or training.
Terms and Conditions
I HEREBY AGREE to the terms and conditions and give consent to all people added to my Riyadh Sports Academy account to become members of Riyadh Sports Academy (“RSA”) henceforward. During the membership period, I consent to those registered on my account participating in activities and events organized or attended by RSA.
Term of Operation
I understand that RSA can operate through all public and school holidays within the term dates, so long as dates are viable for operation as per Saudi Ministry law. Any exceptions to this will be communicated in advance. I understand that RSA's policy is that catch-up lessons will only be offered when lessons have been canceled by RSA, and not for holidays, short-term sickness, or any other after-school activities. In the event of long-term sickness or injury, I will inform RSA immediately and provide a valid medical certificate in order to receive a credit note. Failure to do so may result in a reduction in the value of the credit note offered or a reduction in the number of catch-up classes offered.
Lost or Stolen Items
I understand that no responsibility will be accepted by RSA for the loss or damage to the property or valuables of the registered swimmers on my account, even if such items are left in the lockers provided.
Fees and Credit Notes
I understand that RSA offers catch-up lessons or credit notes for circumstances outlined below:
● If RSA cancels a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., coach illness, facility repairs, pool hygiene issues).
● Medical issues persistent for three consecutive sessions or more and supported by a valid doctor’s certificate.
A catch-up lesson must be booked and utilized within the current term. Any catch-up lessons not taken during the term will expire.
Credit sessions will be valid for 6 months only, from the date of issue, after which, if not redeemed, they will expire.
In exceptional circumstances such as relocation outside of the country or medical issues, for which a valid doctor’s certificate must be provided, a refund may be awarded at the discretion of RSA’s leadership team. I understand that the fees I am paying comprise 30% administration and business costs and 70% services fees. In the event of a refund being awarded, only the tuition fee will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the affected sessions.
I understand that if I make payment by cheque, and this cheque is returned by the bank for any reason, there will be an administrative charge of SAR 100 to be made to RSA.
Change of Level During the Term
● If a swimmer moves within the Learn to Swim program to a higher level, which has a higher price due to a change in the length of the lesson, there will be no corresponding changes to the fee already paid for that term unless additional lessons are added.
● If, however, a swimmer from the Learn to Swim program moves to the squads program within a term, a pro-rata refund will be raised for the remaining Learn to Swim lessons.
